چکیده

Efficient deposition of biomolecules on the surface, maintaining their full activity and stability, is a most significant factor in biosensor construction. For this reason, more research focused development electrochemical biosensors that have ability to electrically detect adsorbed molecules electrode surface with high selectivity sensitivity. The presented aims develop an efficient methodology allows quantification processes related evaluation enzyme (proprotein convertase) using methods. In study we used impedance spectroscopy investigate immobilization peptide substrate (Arg-Val-Arg-Arg) modified 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid gold electrode. Both synthesis as well characteristics obtained materials been described. Experimental conditions, including concentration immobilization, modification time, linker, presence additional blocking groups optimized. main advantages described method it makes possible observe substrate–enzyme interaction without need use fluorescent labels. This also observation at very low concentration. these factors make new technique competitive standard spectrofluorimetric method.

Direct electrochemical interaction between a modified gold electrode and a bacterial membrane extract.

A novel electrochemical approach is described for redox-active membrane proteins. A total membrane extract (in the form of vesicles) of Bacillus subtilis is tethered onto gold surfaces modified with cholesterol based thiols. The membrane vesicles remain intact on the surface and do not rupture or fuse to form a planar bilayer. Oxidation/reduction signals are obtained of the natural co-enzyme, m...

Electrochemical Determination of Food Preservative Nitrite with Gold Nanoparticles/p-Aminothiophenol-Modified Gold Electrode

Due to the negative impact of nitrate and nitrite on human health, their presence exceeding acceptable levels is not desired in foodstuffs. Thus, nitrite determination at low concentrations is a major challenge in electroanalytical chemistry, which can be achieved by fast, cheap, and safe electrochemical sensors. In this work, the working electrode (Au) was functionalized with p-aminothiophenol...

Electrochemical behavior and sensitive determination of L-tyrosine with a gold nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrode.

The electrocatalytic oxidation of L-tyrosine was investigated on a gold nanoparticles self-assembled glassy carbon electrode (gold nanoparticles/cysteamine/glassy carbon) using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. Cyclic voltammetry was carried out to study the electrochemical oxidation mechanism of L-tyrosine, which showed an irreversible oxidation process at a potential of 0...

A Label-free Electrochemical Biosensor for Acrylamide Based on DNA Immobilized on Graphene Oxide-Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

Acrylamide (AA) is a widely used chemical compound, which has strong neurotoxicity, and potential carcinogenicity and genotoxicity. In the present work, the interaction between AA and DNA was confirmed by UV-visible spectroscopy. According to such an interaction, a label-free DNA biosensor for electrochemical determination of AA was proposed. To fabricate the sensor, graphene oxide (GO) was fir...
